Description
Primarily, Bycrom is a blog about programming and software. It will focus on multiple languages, such a C, C++, Objective-C, PHP, multiple variants of SQL, and other tools or languages as they peak the authors interest. The blog will also occasionally post about comics, movies, video games, and rants.
Bycrom will also serve as a code repository for the authors projects, a file server, an image gallary, and potentially play host to web application written by the authors or their associates.
The name Bycrom is a play on the exclaimation of “By Crom!”, after the fictional deity Crom from Conan the Cimmerian. Bycrom is meant to be pronounced as a single word.
The Authors
Tastic (aka Matthew Jimenez) – primary author and administrator of Bycrom. I am 26 and a software developer currently living around Omaha, Nebraska. I take interest particularly in technology used by Apple and major Linux distributions. I occasionally work on Pentagram, a project aiming to create an Ultima 8 engine.
